Recipe for the Tzatziki■ Ingredients
- 1 cucumber.
- 150 g of Greek yogurt. - 1 clove of garlic. - 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. - 1 teaspoon of olive oil. - Half a teaspoon of dill. - Half a teaspoon of parsley. - Pinch of pepper and salt. ■ Preparation
- Pour the yogurt in a tea towel in advance and let it hang so that the yogurt loses moisture and thickens.
- Cut the cucumber in half at its longest and remove the seed list. - Coarsely grate the cucumber and squeeze it into a tea towel until the cucumber is dry. - Crush the clove of garlic and mix it with the olive oil and lemon juice. - Mix this under the yogurt together with the cucumber, the dill and the parsley. - Season with pepper and salt.
This is often eaten together with some garlic bread.
