Celebrating Volvo in Sweden: innovation and legacy at the World of Volvo Museum in Gothenburg16/3/2024
Located adjacent to the Liseberg amusement park, the five-story building houses a blend of temporary and permanent exhibitions, cultural events, lectures, conferences and features a fine restaurant serving Scandinavian cuisine. Inside Gothenburg's World of Volvo MuseumAt the heart of World of Volvo lies the 4,500 square metre sustainably built exhibition space, focusing on the qualities that have propelled Volvo to greatness: reliability, innovation and sustainability. From its inception, Volvo has been committed to the safety and well-being of its users, embodying what the Swedes call 'omtänke' or care. Visitors embark on a journey through time, encountering Volvo's iconic vehicles, real-life stories and interactive experiences that underscore the brand's impact on daily life and society. "We aim to create experiences together with our visitors, striving to make each visit to World of Volvo a new and inspiring encounter", says Ulrika Sandford, Marketing & Communication Manager at World of Volvo. Volvo's power of aerodynamicsWorld of Volvo offers a plethora of surprises and experiences for visitors of all ages, from electric excavators to a wind tunnel demonstrating the power of aerodynamics. Parts of the exhibition are temporary and will be adapted to new themes. With just over a month to go until the grand opening, excitement builds as the completion of the exhibition draws near.
