As a budget traveller I did this countless times. One of the sources I use is the website 'The Guide to Sleeping in Airports'. They lists the best airports where you can relax the most. Airport sleeping is no longer just for the young backpacker. Early morning flights, long onward journeys, canceled flights, snow storms, volcanic eruptions and sometimes an epidemic are all reasons why you see people of all ages and classes lying in airports around the world. And whether you sleep in an airport at night because you chose this yourself, or because you get stuck at the airport for some reason, this website is a good guide to sleeping in an airport and your trip more bearable or more adventurous. Maybe this sounds a bit demeaning and cheap? On the website you will discover a community that has been sharing the experiences and advice of various airport sleepers since 1996, proving the opposite, including great tips and wonderful airport adventures.
