​The Moselsteig, a long-distance walk along the Moselle, was awarded the "most beautiful hiking route in Germany 2016".

The route runs over 365 kilometres from the French border to the Deutsches Eck in Koblenz and was divided into 24 varied stages and along well-known places such as Bernkastel-Kues, Cochem and Burg Eltz.
