They offer great quality, freshly prepared food, your favourite drinks and friendly service in a relaxing pub with a welcoming atmosphere. Try the Fish & Chips, they are delicious here. For me the best in the city.

Proud of their Fish & Chips

It's one of Britain's favourite dishes and they tell on their website they are proud of their Fish & Chips as they use only the finest quality hand-battered cod fillets. And I could taste that. Everytime I'm in London I go to this pub eating Fish & Chips.

Ultimate Fish & Chips

They have two kinds of Fish & Chips: 'Cod & Chips' and 'The Ultimate Fish & Chips'. I can recommend both. The two dishes have both a chunky hand-battered cod fillet, served with chips, mushy or garden peas and tartare sauce. The Ultimate Fish & Chips has extra pickled onions, bread & butter and curry sauce.

Theatre community

The Two Brewers in Covent Garden is located in Monmouth Street, a short distance from the area Seven Dials and is steeped in theatre history as it is situated right in the heart of the theatre community. The Two Brewers dates back to the 1800's, brims with sophistication and is Cask Marque accredited. The St Giles area, the favourite haunt of theatre goers, also has a more sinister and chequered past.

Monmouth Street

During the 1660's the area surrounding the Monmouth Street was traditionally the home of small tradesmen and craftsmen who sold their wares from small market stalls. The trade was diverse from fruit and veg merchants to Saddlers and horse dealers, with the most common being second hand shoe traders, all trying to get by honestly or otherwise.

Charles Dickens

By 1751 the area was changing, becoming more sinister, renowned for petty crime and murder. The perfect setting for this was Hogarth Gin Lane, which was viewed as a mild description of what you might expect to see in Monmouth Street. Charles Dickens was attracted to the St Giles area fascinated by its repulsion and wickedness, basing his novel Bleak House on this area of London, infamous for its slums, crimes and evils.

The Two Brewers

You can find already fish & chips in The Two Brewers for 12,99 British Pond (price 2017).
