The street was built around 1892 during the reign of King Rama V. Khao San night marketAt Khao San Road you can find cheap deals, ranging from food to reasonably priced hotel rooms. It's also a place where many young people or adults party or relax in bars and restaurants. Khao San night market is visited by approximately 40 thousand people every day. At certain times you'll find yourself crowded along the street due to the abundance of visitors and street vendors on both sides. You can also see some vendors selling grilled alligator and fried insects.
