Castle Leuchtenburg Christmas wonderland

From 11 am to 6 pm, Castle Leuchtenburg transforms into a mesmerising wonderland. Think Herrnhuter stars shimmering overhead, fresh pine garlands everywhere and sparkling baubles glistening in the light. Feeling chilly? Step inside the castle tavern for a crackling fire or cosy up indoors with handmade treasures from over 40 artisans—porcelain, leather, ceramics, wool and more, each with a unique story to tell!

Market organisers Tino Schröter and Ulrike Kaiser have nailed the perfect festive vibe. “Every year, the market grows bigger and we’re thrilled to welcome so many amazing artisans”, they share. From Claudia Bock’s delicate porcelain jewellery to Susanne Glaser’s quirky, handmade creations (her shop’s called “Nähgestört” for a reason), you’re guaranteed to discover something truly special!
